Dr. Lieberman is a native of the Midwest, where he spent time in Ohio and Michigan before moving to South Burlington for high school (a town he still calls home to this day). He completed his Bachelor of Science at Quinnipiac University, followed by the completion of his dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Lieberman moved back to Vermont, working in Essex for the last six years before joining and taking over ownership of our practice.

Dr. Lieberman has a diverse dental background, completing continuing education courses in procedures such as Invisalign®, root canal treatment, oral surgery and esthetic treatment planning. After returning to Vermont, Dr. Lieberman ran a study club of local dentists and specialists through Spear Education, through which he continues to take courses and expand his abilities to this day.

Dr. Lieberman is a member of the Vermont State Dental Society and the American Dental Association®, and has participated in numerous local and international outreach programs providing care to underserved communities.

When Dr. Lieberman is not in the office he can be found staying active in the outdoors with his wife, participating in or watching any of the numerous sports he enjoys including baseball, hockey and soccer, or catching the newest Netflix releases with his cat, Buster. Dr. Lieberman feels very fortunate to be able to continue growing with his family here in Vermont, and continuing to provide premium dental care to the community.

Dr. Edward Schumer graduated from the University of Vermont and took a year off to work at Shelburne Craftsman for furniture design and woodworking. Dr. Schumer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and made his home in St. Albans, Vermont. Dr. Schumer practiced for over 30 years and has raised his family with his wife, Mary. Recently, Dr. Schumer has retired from his career in dentistry.
